Fresh dead collected, but still retains full gloss on the entire shell! The pattern on the shell has faded slightly (as happens on fresh dead taken shells). If it was live collected, it would be priced at $4,000+!

A beautiful latior - with the characteristic shape, size, and smaller spotting than a rashleighana or alisonae, as well as basal spotting. A very rare opportunity to obtain such a scarce Hawaiian species (probably the rarest of them all!) in good condition!
