Renowned for their beauty, Papustyla pulcherrima shells are now rarely seen, as collection has long since ceased. As a dead-collected specimen from a decades-old collection, light wear is natural and expected.

CITES & SHIPPING NOTICE
Papustyla pulcherrima is a CITES-protected species. It has been protected in the U.S. since June 2, 1970. This specimen was legally and responsibly dead-collected in the late 1950s before protection was enacted and are legal to buy and sell within the United States.

Due to CITES regulations, this item cannot be shipped outside of the United States under any circumstances. Orders with international addresses will be canceled and refunded.

Note: With these shells I have received questions before in the past about whether or not the color saturation of the shell in my photos has been altered or not. My photos have not been altered; the photos are taken under natural lighting which tends to make the colors pop more. If you purchase this shell and look at it under the same natural lighting, its color will look the same as it does in the photos.
